GDI Booth featuring Adhesive Brokers gets Great Attendance

WestPack 2012 is finally over and we had a great time attending the show!    We also had fun co-hosting the booth with Glue Dots International; providing useful information to customers about the unlimited uses of Glue Dots brand adhesive products!    

 

 

We just hope we didn't screw up just enough to hopefully be invited again.

 

For those of you who made it out to visit with us.   Thank you for coming.   We appreciate seeing each and every one of you there and we, hopefully, answered your many questions about the Glue Dots products.   For those who don't know what WestPack 2012 is;  This, once-a-year, packaging trade show event occurs every February and features products and services from some of the industry-leading packaging manufacturers and distributors in California.      From food-grade packaging solutions and stretch film to labels and packaging machinery;    Westpack 2012 is the perfect place to find what you need to manufacture, package, print, label and display your product.      Adhesive Brokers is a regular attendee to the show; But this year, Glue Dots was nice (and naive) enough to let us co-host the booth with them!      

 

Some highlights from the show:

 

 

A lot of folks stopped by to ask us some interesting questions, but no question was more asked than "What are Glue Dots?"     Needless to say, we had a fun time explaining what they are and why you all should try them.     Many folks, like the gentleman below, found the concept of Glue Dots on their product very intriguing.

 

 

Once explained, most folks realized that Glue Dots are everywhere!   From the credit cards that you receive in the mail to the gift baskets you purchased for your loved ones.   Odds are that you've seen them and didn't even know it!      Glue dots are pre-formed, pressure-sensitive patterns of adhesive that are perfect for printing, mailing, bindery, manufacturing and scrap-booking applications, just to name a few.    And these fine folks at Glue Dots International were able to answer most questions about the product's uses

 

 

Dot Shot Pro, Econodot, Dot n Go;  we offered many Glue Dots application alternatives that make applying dots easy and affordable:

 

 

But the star of the show was the SD-900, in-line Glue Dots application unit!

As you can tell (and if we didn't say it enough), we had a great time co-hosting the booth and visiting with all of you who attended WestPack 2012.       We had a lot of people very interested in the product!     We even had previous customers come by and share how much they love the dots!    Absolutely LOVE THEM!!!      Stories were shared about how many people used transfer tapes and double-sided adhesive solutions, only to have their product not adhere well or look "messy" on the display case.    But when they used Glue Dots, it saved their product in a pinch.  Others shared how they were down to the wire on a project only to Google "Glue Dots" and find a solution in the nick of time.   Do you have such a story?    If so, please share it with us.   We love to hear how Glue Dots have worked for you!
